Garden machinery bearings are indeed susceptible to damage from external factors during operation. Garden machinery is usually used in outdoor environments, which are often full of dust, dirt, moisture and other pollutants. These external factors can easily penetrate into the bearing, especially when the bearing is not well sealed, dust and dirt will accelerate the wear of the bearing and even cause the bearing to fail.
Garden machinery is often accompanied by large vibrations and impacts when working. These vibrations and impacts not only put pressure on other parts of the machinery, but also cause great damage to the bearings. Under frequent vibrations and impacts, the lubricating oil inside the bearing may be squeezed out, causing insufficient lubrication, further causing excessive wear of the bearing, and even jamming or breakage.
Garden machinery usually needs to work under a variety of extreme climatic conditions. For example, high temperature, low temperature, humid or freezing weather may affect the performance of the bearing. In a high temperature environment, the lubricating oil of the bearing may decompose prematurely and lose its lubricating effect; in a low temperature or humid environment, moisture may penetrate into the bearing, causing rust and corrosion, thereby reducing its service life.
Long-term exposure to the outdoors may also cause the bearing surface to be exposed to ultraviolet rays, causing material aging or oxidation, further affecting its performance. Bearings made of plastic or composite materials, in particular, are susceptible to ultraviolet rays, causing surface embrittlement or cracking.
Garden machinery bearings are indeed susceptible to damage from external factors during operation. Therefore, choosing suitable bearings and ensuring that they have good sealing, corrosion resistance, and resistance to vibration, high temperature, and moisture is essential to improving the service life and working stability of the bearings. At the same time, regular maintenance and inspection are also effective measures to avoid damage to bearings by external factors.
